Safety Program

Establishing a safe work environment is of great importance to Jones Contracting Corp..  Accidents in the workplace are an enormous expense to employers, including higher insurance rates and less productivity due to employee absences.  It is Jones Contracting Corp.'s goal to establish a safe working environment for all its employees.  To do this we have established a procedure to conduct weekly safety meetings using "Toolbox Talks" topics.'

Job Specific Fall Protection Plan

Jones Contracting Corp. is dedicated to the protection of its employees from on-the-job injuries.  A Fall Protection Plan will be implemented and customized based on the job requirements if needed.

Drug Testing Program

An active employee may be requested or required to submit to a drug or alcohol test under any of the following circumstances.

  1. Pre-employment/Pre-Season Drug Test
  2. CDL Drivers who are required to participate in our 3rd party random drug testing program
  3. Random Drug Testing
  4. Reasonable Suspicion
  5. Workplace Accident Testing

Hearing Conservation Program

Jones Contracting Corp. hearing conservation program is designed to protect workers with significant occupational noise exposures from hearing impairment.

Personal Protective Equipment

Every employee is assigned personal protective equipment to be used on all jobsites.

Employee Safety Training

Jones Contracting Corp. provides the following safety training to all employees in a leadership position:

  • OSHA 10 Hr Safety Training
  • OSHA Powered Industrial Truck Safety Training
  • First Aid Certification
